The American Health Care medical advisory board is composed of board-certified physicians and health professionals who are nationally and internationally recognized as experts in their respective fields. Claude K. Lardinois, M.D., FACP, FACE, MACN
Medical Director for American Health Care
Board-certified endocrinologist, Dr. Lardinois serves as the medical director of American Health Care. He is a professor of medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and a member of the graduate faculty for Nevada Studies in Nutrition at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Kwabena Adubofour, M.D.
Board-certified, Internal Medicine
Dr. Adubofour is the medical director of Fifth Street Medical Clinic in South Stockton. The private clinic is active in primary care internal medicine and treatment of diabetes.
Ernie Bodai, M.D.
Board-certified, Oncology
Dr. Bodai directs the Breast Health Center at the Kaiser Permanente Sacramento, which is nationally recoginized as a "Center of Excellence" he also serves as Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California, Davis. He is the founder of the Breast Cancer Research Postage Stamp—the first fundraising stamp in US history, now in its fifth issue. Over 900 million stamps have been sold, raising over $60 million for breast cancer research.
John Chin, M.D.
Board-certified, Cardiology
Dr. Chin is chief of cardiology in the Sutter Community Hospital System and co-director of the Transplant and Heart Failure Services at Sutter Memorial Hospital (Sacramento, California). He is also an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the University of California Davis and director of Cardiac Telemetry at Mercy General Hospital.
Bradley Chipps, M.D.
Board-certified, Immunology/Pediatric Pulmonology
Dr. Chipps has been in private practice in Sacramento, California, since 1979 and is board-certified in pediatric pulmonology and allergy and clinical immunology. He is medical director of the Respiratory Therapy and Cystic Fibrosis Center at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento and associate medical director of the Sutter Community Hospital's Sleep Laboratory (which he established in 1984).
Kali Eswaran, M.D.
Board-certified, Internal Medicine
Dr. Eswaran is in private practice in Rancho Cordova, California. He attended Kilpak Medical College in Madras, India, and completed his internal medicine residency at Prince George’s General Hospital in Cheverly, Maryland.
Christine Schaffer, Pharm.D., BCPS, CLS
Chief Clinical Officer at American Health Care
Co-founder of American Health Care, Dr. Christine Schaffer received her doctor of clinical pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy and a clinical scientist degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is licensed by both the California and Nevada State Boards of Pharmacy. She is also a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Dr. Schaffer is affiliated with the American College of Managed Care Pharmacy, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Society of Health System Pharmacists and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy. She proudly serves as a board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Northern California Inland Chapter.
George Khoury, M.D.
Board-certified, Radiology/Internal Medicine
Dr. Khoury is a board-certified internist and radiologist who presently practices diagnostic radiology. He has lectured to technologists and healthcare practitioners on topics relating to diagnostic radiology, ultrasound, MRI, and mammography.
